Marry Me Monday # 8: Water Bottle Pretties

Good Monday Morning Lovely Readers! Today's Marry Me Monday post is an easy peasy little tutorial on how to use the digital download file from my shop to create your own gorgeous customized water bottle labels. This is something that I get e-mailed about a lot because people aren't sure what kind of labels to use, which water bottles work best, etc... so I decided to write this post to help out future Cooper Jane Design clients.

So... first thing's first. How can you get your hands on these cuties? Well let me tell you! The downloadable design file is available for purchase in my Etsy shop here. Once I know your specific colors, background, and initials, I will e-mail you the design file formatted to print four labels to a page.

Things You Will Need:

  • Cooper Jane Design Download file
  • Labels to print your design file on. (I use Avery 8165 Full Sheet White Shipping Labels and they work out wonderfully! Caution: these labels are not waterproof so the ink will smudge if you are throwing them in an ice chest but do great if you are just chilling them in the fridge. If you are looking for waterproof labels I would recommend labelsbythesheet.com. They have this option for inkjet printers and this option for laser printers.)
  • Printer
  • Paper Cutter or Scissors
  • Water Bottles (A standard 16.9 oz bottle works best with these labels. I purchased the Archer Farms brand from Target because they don't have any ridges so they looked a little cuter to me)

Directions:

Step 1: Load the labels into your printer so they are ready to go.

Step 2: Go to your inbox and download the digital design file attachment to your computer. Double click on the file and select print. I told you this was easy, huh?

Step 3: Time to cut! I find that using a paper cutter is much faster than using scissors, but if you don't own one no big deal. Scissors do the trick too!

(See how cute the Archer Farms bottle is?)

Step 4: Peel and Stick!

(I found that it was easiest to start in the center and work your way
out to the edges. Helps to keep them straight )

Ta Da! Finished product. These little pretties are the perfect addition to a bridal shower
or wedding and will have all of your pals oohing and ahhing!
